The Museum of Contemporary Art – Diether Kunerth in Ottobeuren is a modern exhibition space that has been operated by the Ottobeurer Museums, Art and Culture Association since the summer of 2016.
The museum shows changing exhibitions with works by the internationally known Diether Kunerth and other contemporary artists on almost 2000 square meters. The exhibition rooms are deliberately kept simple in order to allow the art to develop fully. In addition to well-known German and international artists such as Friedensreich Hundertwasser, outstanding visual artists also occupy the space in solo exhibitions, such as Markus Lüpertz most recently in 2019.
As an accompanying program, the art workshop also offers workshops for children, young people and adults for all exhibitions.
